WElcome campers!![]() The room is electric with Minecraft fun. Campers are already building their own survival camp. We've set up 2 servers -Chris' survival server and John's creative server. ![]() Check out Anne Marie's underwater house! She's digging a deep cave and crafting a comfortable living under the lake. So COOL! "That's crazy! I Love it! That's so cool!" -statement from an adult camper. In the slideshow below you'll see 7, 8 and 9 year olds building away. Koen (8yo) was unsatisfied with either servers so he created his own world and opened the LAN to his neighbors. Nolan is building a base with redstone dispenser base to protect his area. Love the creativity! "I need to keep mining to find diamonds!" -Monica "I love your lighthouse Anne Marie" -John. Anne Marie used pistons to disguise glowstone blocks to create a flashing light effect. Problem Solving. Problem Solving. Problem Solving. "Mr. Miller can you help me?" Students encounter problems and now suddenly we are all brainstorming ways to develop Minecraft solutions. Really powerful for all of us. "Go down the rainbow tube in the corner" during the creative build session as we slid down the rainbow water slide. After lunch we shared work from another camper we found impressive. We saw pixel art, water slides, monuments, underwater homes, submarines, tree houses with firework dispensers, massive water features, giant arrow dispensing robots and various colorful creations. "Can you teleport to mine, please" -student wanting to show off his work.
