My child is an advanced player, is this camp for her?

Is the teacher camp separate from the student camp?
- Yes and no. We like to have a mix of teachers and kids at our teacher camps. With this model, teachers become the students and kids become the teachers. We spend the first part of each morning and afternoon session getting lessons in both playing and managing Minecraft and in developing Common Core lessons. The second part of each session is dedicated to completing challenges and quests along with the students. Learn by playing!
What do I need to bring?
- Campers will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and water.
- Optionally, bring along headphones or earbuds.
Should I bring my own laptop
- This depends on each camp but often times, we will be using the school's computer lab. If a camper prefers to use their own laptop they are welcome to use it. Please let us know if you plan to do so.
Do I need my own Minecraft account?
- No, you will not need your own account to participate at camp. We can provide a login to use for the duration of camp. If you have a Minecraft account, you should plan to use it. Please come prepared with your login info.
